People’s Education and Welfare Society (PEWS) was founded in 2018 by socially committed professionals, educators, technologists and community leaders who believed that quality education and equal opportunities should not be determined by a person’s economic background.
The founders observed that many talented children and young people from underserved communities lacked access to academic support, career guidance, digital resources, life skills and employment opportunities. Financial constraints, limited awareness and inadequate support often prevented them from reaching their full potential.
The founders recognized that meaningful social transformation requires more than financial assistance. It requires knowledge, skills, mentoring, values, health awareness and opportunities for people to become self-reliant and participate meaningfully in society.
This realization became the foundation of PEWS.
To build an equitable, educated, compassionate and empowered society where every individual and family can realize their potential, communities thrive together, and people live in harmony with a healthy and sustainable planet.
To empower individuals and communities through education, knowledge, skills, health awareness, inclusion and opportunity—building capability, self-reliance and social responsibility while contributing to a healthier, more equitable and sustainable society.
PEWS believes in the holistic well-being and empowerment of people—beginning with the individual, strengthening the family, enriching society and protecting the planet for present and future generations.

PEWS will never compromise what is right for growth, recognition, funding or influence. We choose lawful, ethical and socially responsible action—even when it means slower progress.
Every person deserves dignity, respect, freedom and the opportunity to realize their potential.
PEWS places people at the center of development and seeks to remove barriers that prevent individuals from living with dignity and participating fully in society.
Education and access to knowledge are fundamental to human development and social progress.
We promote learning that develops understanding, capability, confidence and the ability to make informed choices throughout life.
We believe in curiosity, questioning, critical thinking and evidence-based understanding.
We encourage people to examine assumptions, challenge misinformation and make reasoned, informed decisions.
Mental, physical and social well-being are fundamental to a fulfilling life and a healthy society.
We view well-being holistically and recognize the interconnectedness of individual, family, community and environmental health.
Every person should have a fair opportunity to learn, grow, participate and prosper.
We seek to reduce barriers arising from social and economic disadvantage and promote equal opportunity, inclusion and participation.
Meaningful support builds capability, confidence and agency rather than dependency.
We equip people with knowledge, skills, resources and opportunities to make informed choices and shape their own futures.
Our well-being is interconnected with the well-being of others.
We promote empathy, cooperation, mutual respect and responsibility toward family, community, society and humanity.
Human well-being depends upon a healthy planet.
We recognize our responsibility to protect the environment, use resources wisely and contribute to sustainable development for present and future generations.
We act honestly, lawfully and ethically, and have the courage to do what is right—even when it is difficult, unpopular or limits our growth. We never knowingly compromise our principles, reputation or conscience.
We listen, understand people's circumstances and treat every individual with respect and compassion.
We welcome diverse perspectives and strive to ensure that people who need support can participate meaningfully.
We believe social progress is strengthened when communities, volunteers, professionals, institutions, government and corporates work together.
We remain curious, learn from experience and evidence, seek feedback and continuously improve.
We embrace new ideas, technology and better approaches when they can create greater and more sustainable impact.
We take responsibility for our commitments, decisions, resources and outcomes.
We put social purpose at the heart of our work and measure our success by the value we create for people and society.
